Experienced Care for Chronic Conditions
Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts to care for our pets, they can be susceptible to chronic health conditions, particularly as they age. Chronic conditions require ongoing monitoring and treatment, which can include regular injections or medications, periodic bloodwork or other laboratory tests, and more frequent appointments beyond annual examinations.

Early Diagnosis is Key
Warning signs of chronic conditions are often spotted during routine lab work that accompanies a wellness visit. An early diagnosis (before outward signs appear) can slow the progression of the disease and improve your pet’s comfort and longevity.
The experienced, caring doctors at All Creatures Animal Hospital have a passion for doing the detective work when it comes to accurately pinpointing chronic conditions. We won’t order every test in the book — sometimes called shotgun medicine — we’ll thoroughly examine your pet and ask you for details regarding recent changes in health or behavior.
We’ll order only those tests that we feel are necessary, and every step of the way, we’ll explain why we’re ordering those tests and what the results mean. Then, we’ll work with you to create a treatment plan that best accommodates you and your pet.
