Meet Our Veterinary Professionals
Dr. Carolyn Saylor
Medical Director
Beyond her foundational veterinary training, Dr. Saylor has undertaken additional specialized training in both ultrasound and dentistry. This extra knowledge and expertise have allowed her to provide comprehensive care for her patients, ensuring that they receive the highest quality treatment available.
While her interests in veterinary medicine are diverse, Dr. Saylor has developed a particular fondness for soft tissue surgery and complicated internal medicine cases. Her ability to navigate intricate surgical procedures and her dedication to solving challenging medical puzzles have taught her the trust and admiration of her peers and clients alike.
Dr. Saylor’s commitment to animal welfare extends beyond the walls of her clinic. Since 2007, she has been actively volunteering for the Iditarod, using her skills to care for the sled dogs and ensure their well-being during this legendary race. Her selflessness and genuine love for animals shine through in her efforts to make a positive impact in the world of veterinary medicine and beyond.
In April of 2022, Dr. Saylor joined the team at All Creatures Animal Hospital as the Medical Director, bringing her wealth of experience and expertise to benefit the furry companions in her care. Her colleagues appreciate her warm and compassionate approach to veterinary medicine, and her clients value the personalized attention she provides to each beloved pet she treats.
Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Saylor’s unwavering dedication to her patients, her commitment to continuous learning, and her selfless volunteer work have solidified her reputation as a highly respected and cherished member of the veterinary community. Her passion for animals, coupled with her vast knowledge and exceptional skills, make her a true asset to the field of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Saylor currently lives on a small working farm just south of Puyallup near Mount Rainier with her husband, 1 Miniature Aussie, 2 Ragdoll cats, her horses, and a small herd of Angus cows. In her spare time, she enjoys recreational horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, and she is an amateur landscape and wildlife photographer.
Dr. Jacquie Preston
Veterinarian
When not in the hospital, you will most often find Dr. Preston riding one of her barrel horses or on her farm. Dr. Preston raises and trains AQHA barrel horses. Dr. Preston shares her farm with her long term boyfriend, dogs, cats, cattle, goats, a variety of poultry and her pet bison. Family time is important for Dr. Preston and when not on the farm is generally spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Jennifer Gonzalez
Veterinarian
Dr. Gonzalez has a special interest in the bond between pets and their owners, as well as internal medicine and client education and communication. She is known for her ability to put pet owners at ease and explain complex medical conditions in a way that is easy to understand.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys pursuing her personal interests. She is an avid photographer and has a talent for capturing the beauty of the natural world. Dr. Gonzalez is also a skilled horseback rider and loves spending time outdoors with her own horse.
Dr. Lacey Rose-McNulty
Veterinarian
Dr. Rose-McNulty grew up in Puyallup, WA and is excited to be working in her hometown. She completed an accelerated 7-year veterinary program through Washington State University earning her Bachelor of Animal Science in 2019 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She is Level 3 Fear Free Certified, giving her the skills to help your anxious pet feel more comfortable during exams.
She is passionate about helping others through their pets and fostering the human-animal bond. Dr. Rose-McNulty enjoys getting to know her clients and has a special interest in surgery and preventative medicine. In her free time you can most often find her reading, crocheting, playing video games or spending quality time with her husband and three pets – dogs Remi and Ahsoka, and cat Deputy Meow.
Dr. Sig Nottingham
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Sig Nottingham is a native of Montana. He graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Microbiology. Following graduation, he spent a year in a Medical Technology internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane and graduated as a Medical Technologist. He worked in a hospital in Bellingham for several years before deciding to change careers to veterinary medicine and graduated from Washington State University in 1982.
He has practiced veterinary medicine in Tacoma and Puyallup for the past 42 years. His special interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. He is married to Kathryn, and they have four adult children.
Outside interests have included refereeing basketball, fishing, sailing, exercising at the gym, playing accordion, and taking care of his dogs Jenna and Angel.
Dr. Naysa Poshusta
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Poshusta has channeled her love of animals into a career helping families nurture the human animal bond. Growing up in eastern WA she rode horses and entered chickens in the fair. Graduating with her DVM in 2012 from Washington State University she has continued to enjoy all kinds of animals and has been lucky to practice on many of them. She especially loves her own 2 standard poodles, Silvi and Esme, and her horse Quilla. She enjoys attending community events, going on road trips, and supporting the Seattle Sounders.
Dr. Christine Lopez
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Lopez grew up in San Diego, California. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Utah University in 2020 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2024. Dr. Lopez emphasizes the importance of excellent patient care and client communication, and has a special interest in behavior and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Lopez enjoys crocheting and perfecting her homemade spicy garlic pickles recipe. She loves spending time with her pitbull (Miso), basset hound (Bucket), and cat (Parma Ham Pam).
Dr. Rebecca Felknor
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Felknor grew up in the Southern part of the US but migrated to the lovely green of the Pacific Northwest over 30 years ago after graduating from Auburn College of Vet Med. From the bustling pace of ER hospitals to the rewarding work of spay/neuter programs and international volunteer vet care, she has developed a broad range of skills and prides herself on working as a team with clients and their pets.
When not attending to patients, Dr. Felknor can be found enjoying the outdoors. : camping, hiking, playing disk golf, zipping around the pickle ball court, and attempting to fish (albeit it not very successfully). Ripley, a terrier mix with a bad hairdo and a worse attitude, is her copilot for all adventures.
