Dr. Katy Green is a 2005 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. After finishing her veterinary degree, she and her husband relocated to Phoenix, AZ where she practiced for 4 years. The summer of 2009 brought a very exciting change of life when the Greens moved to Puyallup.
Life in private practice has been incredibly fulfilling. Dr. Green specially loves the opportunity to work with families and their pets as their family veterinarian. Seeing patients frequently and getting to know them is extremely rewarding to her.
Dr. Green’s parents imparted a great love of the outdoors in her at a young age. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing. She spent her childhood swimming competitively and then played water polo through college. On her time off she still enjoys getting into the pool. Spending a year in Finland, as a high school student, learning to speak Finnish and enjoying the differences of another culture, have fostered a great love of travel as well. Their travels have taken them throughout the United States, Europe, and Central America (that leaves a lot to look forward to!). Dr. Green now has a complete family; her husband, Tad, 2 children, a Great Dane and one cat.
