As a new client of our hospital, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by our friendly staff and light refreshments waiting. You may be asked to fill out a form regarding your information. Then, a veterinary assistant will take your pets weight and show you to a room.
The veterinary assistants will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering information for the doctor.
Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet from nose to tail, ask you further questions and then recommend further preventative care if your pet is healthy. If the veterinarian discovers any concerns during the examination, then he or she will provide you with a treatment plan for your pet that may include medications, blood work, radiographs, or any other procedures that need to be taken.
This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with the information we are providing and that you fully understand everything that was presented.
Our veterinary assistant will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information, answer wellness and care questions for you and schedule your next exam rather it be 2 weeks, 6 months or a year. Our client relations staff will process your payment.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
