Dr. Jacquie Preston was born and raised in Western Washington and her passion for animals led her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. Dr. Preston earned a B.S. in Animal Science and went on to graduate from Washington State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
After veterinary school she returned home to Graham, where she lives on a small farm with her dogs, cats, horses and peacock. The majority of her free time is spent with her horses which she raises, trains, and competes in barrel racing. Dr. Preston has also trained and competed with her dogs in agility, earning 17 agility titles. In addition to riding her horses, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding her quad, and spending time in the mountains (when it’s warm).
Dr. Preston places high value on the bond that people have with their animals, and understands the importance of proper care and nutrition for all animals whether they are a family pet or competitive athlete.
Other professional interests include pain management, sports medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. While she has a love of animals, she also really enjoys getting to know her clients and having the opportunity to work as a part of their team to ensure the well-being of their adored, furred family members.
